Culinary Experiences
We have reimagined what it is to dine.
To not simply create a meal, but to create a memory around it. All while showcasing the best of Central Otago.
From truffle hunting in Bannockburn followed by a three-course lunch, to dining amongst regenerative paddocks on a lakeside high-country station — each experience
is designed to be more than just a meal, but a moment to remember.

Black Quail Estate

01.
Arrive by helicopter, landing on the edge of the Kawarau River, set amongst the historic vines of Black Quail Estate.
Alternatively, travel by private vehicle along the iconic Felton Road, arriving through the estate’s wrought iron gates.
You’ll be welcomed by your guide and chef with a glass of bubbles and seasonal bites, before heading into the hazelnut groves to hunt and uncover your own truffles.
With your harvest in hand, a short walk leads you to the estate’s award-winning villa, where you’ll settle in for a relaxed three-course lunch, thoughtfully prepared by your chef. Paired with Black Quail Pinot Noir and set against a remarkable landscape, the experience concludes with a visit to the cellar door to explore the estate’s collection further.
